Yaya Toure has hinted that a move to Celtic could appeal before he hangs up his boots.
The 35-year-old is currently a free agent, having left Greek club Olympiakos last year.
Speaking on Sky’s Monday Night Football, as reported by the Daily Record, Toure said he still thinks he can play at the top level, failing to rule out a switch to Parkhead:
Celtic is a great team, but let me speak to Brendan and we will see.
Who knows, maybe Kolo is arranging something for me behind the scenes. We will see.

I have been playing in the Premier League and for me it’s been the most enjoyable.
But we never know, maybe I can end up in Scotland or back in England. I want maybe one more year at a high level.
It would be a significant signing if Brendan Rodgers ever managed to get a deal over the line.
Toure’s very best days are clearly behind him, but he remains a footballer of great quality and someone who could thrive in the Scottish Premiership.
