Celtic and Rangers are set to battle it out for Wigan midfielder Nick Powell, according to reports.
As cited on Birmingham Live, both Brendan Rodgers and Steven Gerrard are keen to sign the player, with an exit from Wigan not being ruled out this month.
Powell is out of contract in the summer and as of yet, is refusing to put pen to paper on a new deal at the club.

The former Manchester United midfielder has rediscovered some of his best form at Wigan, helping them achieve promotion back to the Championship and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
Powell could be available at a cut-price rate this month if Wigan are looking to cash in on the player in the final months of his contract.
Alternatively, Celtic could look to sign him for nothing at the end of the season.
Celtic have been linked with a move for Powell for some time, with his contract situation rumbling on in the Championship.
