Celtic keen to agree pre-contract deal to sign Wolves’ Iorfa

Celtic are keen to secure the services of Wolves defender Dominic Iorfa and could agree a deal this month.

According to a report from Birmingham Live, Celtic could agree a pre-contract arrangement that would see Iorfa join the Hoops at the end of his deal which expires in the summer.

The once-promising defender has fallen out of favour at Wolves and is unlikely to be given a new deal at the club.

As he enters the final months of his contract, Iorfa is free to discuss terms with clubs outside of England.

After failing to break into Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans at Wolves he spent last season on loan at Ipswich and is yet to be named in a Premier League squad this term.

Iorfa was backed to achieve big things from a young age and the former England youth international will be keen to get his career back on track with a move to Celtic.
