Celtic target misses training camp to ‘hold talks with club’
Celtic could be one step closer to signing Ukrainian winger Maryan Shved.
The Scotsman reports that the 21-year-old has missed Karpaty Lviv’s winter training camp, with the club’s vice president confirming that he has held talks with a club.
Having already brought in attacking threats so far this January, Hoops fans may be sceptical of the chance that the club the wide-man has negotiated with is indeed Brendan Rodgers’ side.
However, don’t be too surprised if the starlet does make the move to Glasgow.
Rodgers stated earlier on Monday that he would not bring in any more players before the end of the window, unless he thought they could make a genuine impact in the quest to secure yet another Scottish Premiership title.
Should Celtic make another signing before the end of January?

One of Ukraine’s most fancied youth products, the forward received his first senior cap for the national side in November.
With many European clubs vying for his services, Celtic may rise above the rest to capture the Mykolaiv prodigy.
