Marvin Compper’s representatives are due to hold talks with Celtic over a potential exit this month.
As reported by the Scotsman, Compper could leave the club for nothing this month, despite the player having 18 months left to run on his current deal.
It appears that Celtic are willing to release the player from his contract, having joined the club from RB Leipzig last January.

Since moving to Scotland, things have not quite gone to plan for Compper or Brendan Rodgers, who would have been hoping for much more from the player.
After struggling with injuries, Compper has made just one appearance for Celtic in what has been a nightmare stint in Scotland for the player.
His problems at the club have raised questions about Celtic’s transfer strategy after the Hoops spent a fee believed to be in the region of £1 million to sign him.
Speaking about the defender’s Celtic future, Rodgers told reporters:
There’s nothing as of yet – the club are speaking to Marvin’s representatives to try and find a solution.
