Valencia could be without Kevin Gameiro for their upcoming Europa League clash with Celtic after the striker suffered an ankle injury during the first leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-final tie against Getafe.
The French international is set to have a scan on the injury when the swelling goes down but the initial worries are that he’ll be out of action for a month, which would force him out of the clash at Celtic Park on February 14th.

The 31-year-old has scored just twice in 26 games for Valencia, who he joined for €16million in the summer, but he’s one of their better players and his absence, should it be confirmed, will come as a blow for the Spaniards.
Valencia are currently enduring a rather poor season in La Liga, where they currently occupy the ninth position and they are eyeing a good run in Europe to help salvage what could become a lost campaign.
