Celtic stretched their advantage at the top of the Premiership table after eventually brushing aside Hamilton with three goals from Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie and Scott Sinclair respectively.
Martin Canning’s side made a positive start to the game before Sinclair made the best chance of the half.
The wide man exchanged passes with Christie before darting into the box and unleashing an effort that Fulton managed to tip into the ball.
Emilio Izaguirre again called Fulton into action before the deadlock was broken.
McGregor gathered outside the box to drill a low powerful shot which slipped through the legs of the accord keeper who may have been unsighted.
The second period was frustrating for the Hoops as they struggled to seal the game with a second goal.
Oliver Burke and James Forrest came off the bench and got involved in the ultimate mixup as Burke rounded the keeper but both got in the way of each other with the net empty.
If there was an element of luck about Celtics first, there certainly was with the second as Lustig’s cross bounced right in front of the keeper who could only push it off the approaching Christie as the ball bounced home.
Sinclair wrapped up proceedings with a nice downward header from Lustig’s pinpoint delivery. It wasn’t the greatest Celtic performance but here’s how we rated the players after this evenings three points.
