The Hoops are set to end their January fixture list with a home fixture versus St Johnstone.
It has been a successful start to the new year as Rodgers’ side have recorded three wins from three; advancing to the next stage of the Scottish Cup and returning to league action in convincing fashion.
January arrivals Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah have not wasted any time in getting off the mark in Glasgow: Weah scored on his debut after coming off the bench versus Airdrie and then scored once more against St. Mirren while Burke scored a brace against the Paisley side.
Tommy Wright’s St. Johnstone sit sixth in the Premiership table, though failed to take anything from Saturday’s match against Hearts at Tynecastle following a 2-0 defeat.
Wednesday’s match will be the first of a double-header between the sides as they will then meet once more on Sunday afternoon in the Premiership.
Here is our Celtic predicted XI for Wednesday night’s game.
