Celtic midfielder Ewan Henderson is set to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract extension, according to reports.
The youngster’s current deal expires in the summer but Celtic seem keen to tie him down to a long-term deal and it looks like the teenager is happy to commit his future to Celtic.
Henderson made his senior debut in May 2018 against Kilmarnock in what was a dead rubber and he made a cameo appearance in the league game against St Mirren just a few days ago.

As reported by the Herald, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has hinted at a possible loan move for Henderson as he is keen for the youngster to get regular first-team action to help with his development.
Celtic are in the midst of a title race and have European aspirations too, so it’s unlikely that Henderson will be given enough valuable minutes this season but the fact that he looks set to sign a new deal will be a huge boost for the club.
