Celtic have been handed a major boost with the news that FC Porto are set to cool their interest in French midfielder Olivier Ntcham.
According to Portuguese outlet A Bola, as cited on the Daily Record, the Primeira Liga side believe that a deal to sign Ntcham will be too expensive.
Porto have been heavily linked with a move to sign Ntcham during the summer and their interest has recently come to light once again.
However, Celtic have stood firm in their valuation of the player and are clearly refusing to lose him on the cheap.

Porto boss Sergio Conceicao was said to be a huge admirer of Ntcham, but Celtic are reportedly demanding a fee in the region of £17.5 million for the player.
Ntcham has earned himself plenty of his admirers since his move to Celtic, with the Frenchman impressing in the middle of the park under Brendan Rodgers.
