Celtic and Borussia Dortmund have reached an ‘agreement in principle’ regarding a deal for Jeremy Toljan, according to claims from Sky Sports.
The Hoops were linked with a swoop to sign the Germany international recently and appear to have firmed up their interest as they edge ever closer to completing a move.
Both sides are optimistic about their chances of tying up a deal before the January transfer window slams shut at midnight.

Toljan looks to be a top target for Brendan Rodgers, who is seemingly out to add further quality and depth to his options in the full-back positions.
Mikael Lustig sees his contract at Celtic Park expire at the end of the season, with the Swedish international now likely to fight the Borussia Dortmund man for a place in the starting line-up.
The 24-year-old has not been a favourable option for the Bundesliga giants this term and has not made a single start under Lucien Favre.
