Celtic full-back Calvin Miller has joined Championship side Ayr United on loan for the remainder of the season, the club have confirmed.
The 21-year-old had been out on loan at Dundee during the first half of the season but his stay at Dens Park was cut short.
Miller will now drop down a division to get some more first-team experience at Ian McColl’s Ayr who are fighting at the top end of the Championship.
Brendan Rodgers has handed the academy graduate just five domestic starts in his time in charge so the energetic, attacking left-back should benefit from more game time.
However, with Kieran Tierney still struggling with injury and new signing Andrew Gutman returning to the USA on loan, Emilio Izaguirre is now the only fit left-back currently in the squad.
