Celtic prepare to take on St Johnstone for the second time this week on Sunday, as they will seek to repeat their Parkhead exploits in Perth.
A 2-0 victory at Celtic Park came about thanks to a pair of quickfire goals from Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie, as the Hoops extended their lead at the top of the Premiership.
With a six point cushion, Brendan Rodgers will be eager to see his team kick on and put Rangers firmly out of sight.
With that in mind, here’s the XI we think Rodgers will roll out at McDiarmid Park:
GK: Scott Bain
Bain is set to keep a hold of the gloves, with veteran Craig Gordon waiting for a chance to win his spot back soon.
RB: Mikael Lustig
The Swede is also set to hang on to his position, with Jeremy Toljan preparing to take over.
CB: Kristoffer Ajer
The Norwegian youngster will once again start in the heart of the back four.
CB: Jozo Simunovic
The slightly more experienced Croat will partner Ajer, in what is a fairly capable pairing.
LB: Emilio Izaguirre
The Honduran should round off the defence, for what would be his tenth Premiership appearance of the season.
CM: Scott Brown
The skipper will conduct the orchestra from the middle of the park.
CM: Callum McGregor
The terrifically likeable McGregor will turn in a solid shift no matter where he’s deployed.
CAM: Ryan Christie
Completing the all-Scottish midfield, Christie will look to continue his good form in Perth.
RW: James Forrest
Despite experiencing something of a dry spell, don’t expect Rodgers to give up on Forrest any time soon.
ST: Timothy Weah
The PSG prospect could get his second start in a Celtic shirt here, and will be on the hunt for his second goal too.
LW: Oliver Burke
Burke would head out wide to accommodate Weah, as he continues to build his reputation as a versatile forward.
