Celtic’s injury issues are starting to mount up ahead of a busy fixture list and, as per the Scotsman, winger James Forrest is now a doubt for the Europa League Last 32 clash against Valencia due to a hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old picked up the injury during the 2-0 win against St Johnstone in Perth on Sunday and he could be set for an extended spell on the sidelines.
Celtic take on the Spanish side on February 14th, meaning he has just nine days to recover and get himself fit for the game.

Celtic’s Assistant Manager Chris Davies praised Forrest for informing the club’s medical staff of his injury straight away as he could easily have aggravated it further had he continued to play on with it.
He said:
He used his experience to identify straight away that he had an issue and immediately spoke to the manager and the physio. That showed maturity because the instinct is often to carry and on and try to run it off, which can make things significantly worse but he came off so, hopefully, that won’t have exacerbated it.
Forrest won’t play against Hibs on Wednesday evening, nor will Odsonne Edouard, Ryan Christie or Mikael Lustig.
