Celtic defender Emilio Izaguirre was stretchered off in the club’s 2-0 win over Hibernian on Wednesday night.
The left-back went down, with what appeared to be an ankle injury, late on in the second-half and was replaced by Jonny Hayes in the 82nd minute.

He was down on the ground for a number of minutes before he was taken off on a stretcher by the medical staff at the ground.
Izaguirre has been a regular at left-back for Celtic over the past two months following an injury to Scotland international Kieran Tierney, but he may now face a spell on the sidelines himself.
Rodgers is yet to comment on the severity of Izaguirre’s injury, but an update is likely to come in the coming days.
Celtic won 2-0 thanks to goals from Ryan Christie and Oliver Burke, as they continued their excellent start to 2019.
