Vakoun Issouf Bayo made his first appearance in a Celtic shirt after he featured for the club’s reserve side on Monday.
The Daily Record report that the player managed to get just over 60 minutes of football under his belt, as he prepares to make his first-team bow for the Hoops.
Bayo was unable to get his name on the scoresheet but did help the side to a 4-1 victory against Falkirk.
The striker has been forced to bide his time before making his first-team debut, as he builds up his match fitness.
Having joined from Dunajska Streda, Bayo had not played a competitive game since the end of last year.
The striker was named on the bench against Hibernian last week, but it is likely to be some time yet before Hoops fans see their latest signing start a game for the club.
Celtic face Kilmarnock on Sunday afternoon and the striker will no doubt be aiming to play some part in the game.
