Celtic are monitoring Birmingham City striker Che Adams, according to the Mirror, cited by the Daily Record.
The 22-year-old has found the back of the net 19 times under Garry Monk this season and has been the Blues’ star performer as they push for a play-off place.
Adams’s form caught the eye of Premier League outfits Burnley and Southampton during the January transfer window, however, the dynamic forward remained at St Andrew’s.
And according to the Mirror, Celtic had scouts in attendance on Tuesday night at Birmingham’s 1-0 defeat against Bolton.
Adams is under contract in the Midlands until 2022 and with Burnley failing with a £9 million offer last month, it is highly unlikely Birmingham officials will accept a bid under £10 million.
Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal are also now monitoring Adams’ progress, so Celtic, who broke their transfer record on Odsonne Edouard last year, will have to be willing to break it once again to bring the forward to Celtic Park.
