Kieran Tierney could feature against Motherwell on Sunday, after being named in Celtic’s provisional squad for the fixture.
Absent since December after sustaining a hip injury, the Hoops’ fan favourite return to action will act as a welcome piece of good news for a group still afflicted by Thursday’s Europa League exit in Valencia.
The left-back last appeared in a famous green and white jersey for his side’s 2-1 defeat against Salzburg on December 13, and has been severely missed on the perimeter of Brendan Rodgers’ back four.
The Daily Record have revealed the team that Rodgers is looking at for the clash, which may or may not see Tierney make the starting XI.

The Northern Irish tactician has explored various means of filling the void left by the Scottish international, most recently deploying veteran Jonny Hayes in the spot for the games against Kilmarnock and Valencia.
Tierney may be given a chance off the bench if Rodgers deems his match fitness to be below necessary levels, but to see him grace the turf again will be reason for joy enough.
