Celtic first-team coach John Kennedy has insisted that Brendan Rodgers has already begun preparations for next season, despite being heavily linked with the Leicester City job, the Daily Record report.
The Foxes sacked boss Claude Puel on Sunday following their 4-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.
Rodgers and Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez have been installed as the early favourites for the job at the King Power Stadium.

It isn’t the first time the Hoops’ boss has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League, with Rodgers aiming for a historic ‘treble treble’ with Celtic this season.
And talking to the Mail on Sunday, first-team coach Kennedy discussed Rodgers’ future.
Brendan just gets on with his job. I remember the chat at some point last season was that if he got a second Treble, an English team would come calling and he’d be gone.
We’re getting to that point in the season again and these stories will surface in the run-in.
Kennedy then went on to add that Rodgers, who has won seven consecutive domestic trophies in Scotland, is already preparing for next season with Celtic.
From working with him, he’s in a very good place. He’s a terrific manager who will hopefully be successful again this season.
His full focus is with Celtic and the way I see it he is preparing for next season, just as he did last year and the year before.
The Irishman, who made the move to Celtic Park back in 2016, is currently contracted at Celtic Park until 2021.
