Celtic fans name Henderson as their Man of the Match against Motherwell

Celtic fans have hailed the performance of young midfielder Ewan Henderson after his impressive display against Motherwell on Sunday.

Henderson, the younger brother of former Celtic star Liam Henderson, made his first start for the Hoops during the 4-1 win and gave supporters plenty to be excited about going forward.

After the game, we asked supporters who they rated as Celtic’s best player during the victory.

After hundreds of votes, 91% of votes cast were in favour of the young midfielder.

Odsonne Edouard was a close second at 80%, while the versatile Kristoffer Ajer came in with 56% of votes.

Henderson will no doubt be hoping for more regular game time in the first-team squad over the coming weeks.

Despite signing a new deal earlier this season, fans have started to look at life after Scott Brown at Celtic and Henderson could be one to flourish in the years to come.
