Lennon will take charge of the Hoops until the end of the season at least following Brendan Rodgers’ departure to Premier League club Leicester City on Tuesday.
After Claude Puel was sacked by the Foxes, they established an interest in appointing the Northern Irishman and moved swiftly to secure him as their new manager.

Celtic, too, have acted quickly and Lennon has now returned to the club after leaving Hibernian last month.
The 47-year-old will be keen to help the Hoops secure an unprecedented Treble Treble this season, carrying on the success that Rodgers oversaw during his tenure at the club.
Lennon’s first game back as Celtic boss comes on Wednesday night against Hearts at Tynecastle.
