Leigh Griffiths has hinted at an imminent return to football, having not kicked a ball since December.
The Scotland international took time away from the game at the end of the calendar year, citing personal reasons as the cause behind his absence.
The former Dundee and Hibernian forward spoke out about his return being close recently, and the 28-year old has further teased a return on his Instagram tonight.

In an Instagram Stories post (which expires after 24 hours), Griffiths posted an image of himself playing for the Hoops and talking to interim manager Neil Lennon on the sidelines, during Lennon’s first tenure as Celtic manager.
Accompanying the image is a number of ‘time’ and ‘celebration’ emojis, indicating that the Scotsman will soon be back to feature for the interim coach’s side.
While fans while surely ben keen to see Griffiths return, firm admirer Lennon will also be anticipating the return of a valuable squad member as he looks to finish the season strongly.
