Lee Congerton could leave his role as Celtic’s head of recruitment after only two years at the club, according to an exclusive report from talkSPORT.
The former Sunderland chief is believed to be exploring his options and could seek an exit from the Scottish champions as he explores pastures new abroad.
TalkSPORT claims that Celtic remain keen to retain the services of Congerton for the foreseeable future, and have also given serious consideration to the idea of offering him a role as the sporting director of the club.

However, it appears as though the ex-Chelsea scout will weigh up all the options in front of him before he commits his future to the cause at Celtic Park.
Congerton, according to the report, worked closely alongside Brendan Rodgers during the Northern Irishman’s stint in Scotland.
Last week, the manager departed Celtic to join Premier League club Leicester City, and it seems the Hoops’ head of recruitment could follow him out of the exit door if he pursues opportunities elsewhere.
