Brendan Rodgers wants to take Celtic’s head of recruitment Lee Congerton with him to Leicester, report the Telegraph.
Rodgers controversially traded the Hoops for the Foxes last week, in a move that angered Celtic supporters.
He is now set to test their patience again, with the news that he is looking to lure Congerton to Leicester in the summer.
He would replace Eduardo Macia, who will leave the King Power Stadium when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Congerton’s working relationship with Rodgers goes back a number of years, back when they both at Chelsea, with the Northern Irishman thinking highly of the recruitment expert.
He has already taken backroom staff members Chris Davies, Kolo Toure and Glen Driscoll with him to Leicester.
Congerton is thought to be interested in a move abroad, but working with Rodgers again is expected to appeal more.
Should he move to Leicester, they would have to pay Celtic compensation, due to him still being under contract at Parkhead.
