After scoring a hatrick in the reverse fixture, Scott Sinclair is aiming to make an impact once again when Aberdeen visit Celtic Park later today.
The two Scottish giants last met at Pittodrie on Boxing Day and played out a 4-3 thriller where five of the seven goals scored came in the final quarter-of-an-hour.
It was Odsonne Edouard’s eye-catching strike that won the game for the Hoops, but Sinclair netted a memorable treble and he’s revealed in the official matchday programme he’s excited to try and be the difference again.
Every single time we play Aberdeen, it’s always an exciting game. They’re a great side, they’re physical, and when they come here they always want to win. Every game I go into, every time I step on the pitch, I’m always looking to score goals, create goals or assist. The last game against Aberdeen at Pittodrie was a great game for myself and for the team, and obviously getting a hat-trick, and winning the game was great.
Sinclair is finding a lot of joy on the left side of the midfield so far this season, contributing 17 goals and six assists to help Celtic hold a seven-point lead over Rangers at the Scottish Premiership summit, with a game in hand.
Celtic will extend their lead at the top of the table to 10 points with a win against Europe-chasing Aberdeen, currently sitting in third.
