Celtic midfielder Mikey Johnson has claimed that the title race is still open after the club’s 0-0 draw with Aberdeen over the weekend.
Neil Lennon was left frustrated as he watched his side fail to score in his first home game in charge of Celtic, since returning to the club.
It was the first time in 16 matches, league and cup, that Celtic failed to win – having had a 100% record in 2019 going into the game.
Johnson now says that, despite it being in Celtic’s hands, the title race is still open to Rangers.

Celtic are currently eight points clear of Rangers in the table, with Johnson claiming that Celtic need to remain focused and do their job to secure the title.
Speaking to The Daily Record, Johnson said this:
The league is still open but it’s in our hands, as long as we play well and don’t take anything for granted.
Everyone is motivated to win the title, it’s huge for us. It’s the same sort of pressure a lot of people in the dressing room have dealt with most years, so it’s familiar for a lot of them.
The game was really frustrating but it’s not too negative from our point of view because the league is still in our hands. So we can’t be too down about it.
