Aberdeen midfielder Graeme Shinnie will miss his side’s Scottish Cup semi-final clash with Celtic.
The 27-year-old will be suspended for the meeting, having picked up a yellow card in the quarter-final victory over Rangers on Tuesday night.
The Dons stunned Steven Gerrard’s side with a 2-0 victory at Ibrox, in what was a replay after the initial game finished in a 1-1 draw.
Shinnie will be a big loss for Aberdeen and his good form was rewarded with a call-up to Alex McLeish’s Scotland squad earlier on Tuesday, for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Kazakhstan and San Marino later this month.
The semi-final against Celtic takes place on April 13th at Hampden Park.
The Hoops are still going for an unprecedented ‘treble treble’, with Neil Lennon hoping to see them over the line after the controversial exit of Brendan Rodgers.
Next up is a trip to Dundee on Sunday lunchtime, as Celtic look to edge closer to yet another Scottish Premiership title.
