Celtic are in full-on party mode this week after managing to secure the treble on Saturday.
The Hoops came from behind to beat Hearts 2-1 in the final of the Scottish Cup, bringing home a domestic treble for the second successive season.
Neil Lennon joined the club in February after Brendan Rodgers moved south of the border to go and join Leicester City in the Premier League, and led the side to a league title and the Scottish Cup.
Rodgers had already secured the Betfred Cup, after winning the treble last season as well, with Lennon completing his work in the final few months of the campaign.
However, after the partying has stopped, the club will need to start planning on what will happen next season and look at how the side can progress going forward.
There are some questions that need answering and we have compiled a list of 10 that Celtic need to address this summer…
Who will be the manager?
The big talking point in recent months has been about who the next permanent manager will be. The club have announced that Lennon has been offered the job, but will he take it? It seems likely, but you never know until it’s all 100% official and confirmed.
Will Benkovic return?
Filip Benkovic spent the season at Celtic on loan from Leicester and impressed in central defence. Could Celtic look to use their links with Rodgers to bring the defender back for another season in Scotland?
Can Celtic stave off Forrest interest?
Over the years, many players have had great seasons at Celtic before moving over to the Premier League, with the likes of Victor Wanyama, Gary Hooper, Virgil Van Dijk and Fraser Forster all moving south of the border. But can Celtic stave off any potential interest in James Forrest this summer and keep hold of the talented winger?
A number of players are likely to leave Celtic this summer, due to lack of game time or interest from elsewhere. The likes of Christian Gamboa, Dorus De Vries, Jack Hendry and Marvin Compper could all move on this summer.
Who comes in?
As well as selling players, Celtic will be looking to make signings as well. Could Oliver Burke return to the club? Could they look to raid Aberdeen for someone like Scott McKenna? All remains to be seen.
Who will step up?
Neil Lennon gave a host of young players a chance on the final day of the league season and Mikey Johnston stood out. The young winger could now step up and be a key player in the first-team next season, but who else could join him? Karmoko Dembele? Ewan Henderson? Anthony Ralston?
How do they improve their European record?
It’s fair to say that Celtic have struggled in Europe over the last few years, so how do they improve? The club will have to find a way to improve in the Champions League or Europa League if they want to push on to the next level in club football.
Will Rangers trouble Celtic next season?
Rangers made great strides this season under Steven Gerrard and inflicted Celtic’s last defeat. Celtic will be praying that Rangers don’t come back even stronger next season and compete for the title in an attempt to end Celtic’s reign.
Where do they go from here?
After back-to-back domestic trebles, where do Celtic go from here? Do they just look to repeat the feat again or do they go all out in trying to prove they are one of Europe’s best by trying to go far in the Champions League or win the Europa League?
How much longer will Brown go on for?
Scott Brown enjoyed yet another fantastic campaign at Celtic, captaining the club again, and still looks to be in top shape. However, at 33 his best years may be drawing to a close and Celtic may have to start looking for long-term successors.
