Moussa Dembele mocks Rangers after Celtic secure treble
Former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has aimed fun at Rangers following the Hoops completed their third successive treble on Saturday.
Odsonne Edouard scored twice as Neil Lennon’s side came from behind at Hampden to defeat Hearts 2-1 and pick up their ninth-straight domestic trophy.
Following the victory, now-Lyon frontman Dembele took to Twitter to take a cheeky dig at his old Glasgow rivals.
Twitter: Few weeks ago Rangers threw a party for their 6 wins in a row, today we celebrate making history and our 9 trophies… https://t.co/bMu6HiSJk0 (@MDembele_10)
Celtic fans, of course, reacted hysterically to the Frenchman’s post whilst many pleaded him to make a return to Parkhead.
Dembele could be on the move from Lyon this summer, but to Manchester United after the Premier League club sent an initial offer worth €40million.
It’d be great to see the 22-year-old get a chance to shine in the Premier League after a good season in France, scoring 23 goals.
