With Neil Lennon permanently back at Celtic, the club have already started searching for new players to add to their squad.
According to reports from the Scottish Daily Mail, as cited on the Daily Record, Celtic have their eyes on Manchester City’s Brandon Barker.
The 22-year-old has been at City since a young age but has been on loan at other clubs almost every season of his professional career.
He was with current Celtic boss Neil Lennon when he was at Hibernian for the 2017-18 season and now Lennon has decided he wants him back in his squad at Celtic Park.
Barker still has one more season left on his contract, which is up in June 2020, and according to the report, it is looking unlikely that Manchester City will renew his deal.
Celtic are hoping that they will be able to get a cut-price deal for Barker, who could be a perfect asset to Celtic’s side.
