Arsenal have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Celtic star Kieran Tierney, according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims that Gunners boss Unai Emery has identified Tierney as a top transfer target this summer to take over as first-choice left-back at the Emirates Stadium next season.
Tierney has been linked with a Premier League move for some time, with multiple top sides linked with the Scot in recent years, so a side firming up their interest won’t come as a surprise to Celtic fans.
The 22-year-old, who has been one of the Hoops’ key men since making his debut back in 2015, is currently contracted at Celtic Park up to 2023, so Arsenal will more than likely have to make a lucrative offer over £20m for the full back.
The report claims that the Gunners are expected to make a move for the player in the coming weeks, so Tierney, who has admitted previously that he would be willing to remain a one-club man throughout his career, may well face a tricky choice this summer.
