Celtic manager Neil Lennon has revealed that the club are closing in on the signing of Toulouse defender Christopher Jullien.
According to Sky Sports, Lennon confirmed that the club expect to wrap up a deal for Jullien soon.
This comes after reports earlier this week claiming that Celtic had agreed an €8m fee with Toulouse for the French central defender.
Jullien now appears to be on the verge of a move to Celtic Park, as Neil Lennon looks to improve his defence – following the end of Filip Benkovic’s loan and Dedryck Boyata’s move to the Bundesliga.
The 26-year-old, Jullien, made 34 appearances in Ligue 1 for Toulouse last season as they finished in the bottom half of the table. He has been a regular for the French club for a number of years, racking up over 100 games since his transfer from Freiburg in 2016.
Sky Sports also claim that Celtic are still in talks over a deal to sign Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull.

Kouassi could benefit from a season away on loan to develop his game.
Hendy could look to leave the club in search of more regular game time elsewhere.
