Pundit assures fans Turnbull’s transfer will go through
Motherwell’s David Turnbull is set to join Scottish Premiership champions Celtic following a successful campaign.
Turnbull had his medical with Celtic last night, but reports have suggested there was an issue which could lead to a delay in the transfer.
According to BBC Sport’s Tam McManus, during Turnbull’s medical an issue with his knee was discovered and the 19-year-old now reportedly requires surgery.

The operation means he will be out for 10-12 weeks, which will see him miss the start of the season. However, McManus has assured supporters that the deal ‘will 100% still go through.’
Losing the player through injury before he has even signed will come as a blow to Celtic, but Lennon will be delighted to finally get this deal over the line.
Turnbull has featured 31 times for Motherwell in the Premiership last season and managed to bag 15 goals.
