Bertolacci closing in on move to Celtic
Italian midfielder Andrea Bertolacci is reportedly closing in on a move to Celtic this week.
According to Calcio Buzz, Bertolacci is poised to complete a transfer to Celtic, having left AC Milan earlier this summer.
The 28-year-old midfielder left Milan upon the expiry of his contract and is currently a free agent.
He only made four appearances for Milan in all competitions last season as he struggled for form and fitness at the San Siro, with the Italian giants deciding to let him leave the club at the end of his deal.
The Italian international now looks set to sign for Celtic and become their fourth signing of the summer, following Boli Bolingoli, Christopher Jullien and Luca Connell in the door at Celtic Park.
Bertolacci has been capped five times by his country, although his last one came in 2015 – after making his debut in 2014.
After joining Milan from Genoa in 2015, Bertolacci played 54 games in three seasons with the club.
