Sheffield United and Preston eye Sinclair move – but Celtic should keep hold of the winger

Sheffield United and Preston North End are reportedly eyeing up a deadline day move for Scott Sinclair, but Celtic should look to keep hold of the winger.
According to footballscotland, via the Daily Record, the English duo are both said to be keen on making a move for Sinclair prior to the transfer deadline, and Neil Lennon confirmed there is interest in the 30-year-old.
There’s a bit of interest, but nothing concrete at the minute. That might change over the next 24 hours.
But Lennon should look to fend off any interest in the winger.

Sinclair has been a key figure for Celtic ever since joining from Aston Villa in 2016, scoring 61 goals in 163 games in all competitions for the Hoops.
While the winger was left out of the squad for the Hoops’ game against CFR Cluj due to the interest from England, he could still be an important player for the club this season.
Sinclair scored 17 goals and created six assists in all competitions last season, and the Hoops may miss his attacking threat should he leave on the English transfer deadline day.
