Celtic Predicted XI: Motherwell (A)

The Hoops return to domestic action this Saturday as they travel to Fir Park to face Motherwell. 

Neil Lennon’s side took another step closer to the Champions League group stages after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Cluj in Romania on Wednesday night. 

The Romanian champions opened the scoring on 28 minutes thanks to a counter-attacking move rounded off by forward Rondon. Though Celtic wasted no time in replying as James Forrest neatly slotted his strike home on 38 minutes to gain a valuable away goal to take into the second leg.

Now it is time to turn their focus to the league, a week after annihilating St. Johnstone 7-0 at Celtic Park. 

While a scoreline of that magnitude is not exactly expected, it’s important that the Hoops make a statement with a strong performance and get their second win in as many league games.
