Brentford set to offer Henry new contract – Should Celtic turn their attention elsewhere?

Brentford are reportedly set to offer Celtic target Rico Henry a new contract in order to settle any speculation regarding the full-backs future, so should the Hoops turn their attention elsewhere?
According to the Daily Record, Henry will be offered a long-term deal by Brentford as they look to keep the left-back at the club and fight off Celtic’s interest.
The Hoops reportedly sent scouts to watch Henry recently as they target a replacement for Kieran Tierney, but given the news of a reported new contract for the full-back, should they turn their attention elsewhere?

While Celtic clearly need to sign a replacement for Tierney prior to next month’s deadline, there are concerns over whether Henry will be the right man to succeed the Scotland international.
The 22-year-old no doubt has the talent to succeed at Parkhead, but his recent injury record is the biggest concern many have.
Henry has been sidelined the a large period of the season in the last three campaign’s, limiting the full-back to just 37 appearances in his three years with Brentford.
And with reports suggesting Henry would set Celtic back £7million, it could be a gamble for the Hoops to go all in on the Brentford man.
