Leicester’s Andy King has completed a loan move from Leicester City to Rangers, much to the annoyance of some Celtic fans.

Former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers is now in charge at the King Power Stadium and he has given his blessing for the Welshman to move to Ibrox.

Given his past ties to Celtic, Rodgers has been taken a battering on social media for the decision, with these tweets being posted when the rumours of King’s move were first reported.

Unfortunately, business is business and with Andy King not in the first-team plans at Leicester and clearly wanting a move, it’s easy to see why the loan to Rangers was accepted.

Whether Rodgers gave a second thought about the move helping his former club’s biggest rival will never be known but, in truth, there’s no reason for him to care about Celtic, in the same manner that plenty of Hoops fans no longer care about their ex-manager.
