The latest transfer rumours regarding who Celtic could potentially sign have certainly sparked discussions on our Twitter feed.

Following a piece from the Daily Record, we asked supporters on social media for their thoughts about the Hoops reportedly seeking permanent moves for a striker and an attacking midfielder.

While replies to our Tweet were certainly varied, an underlying theme seemed to occur.

Goals have not been Celtic’s problem so far this season, and therefore chasing both another attacking midfielder and a striker seems pointless, let alone pursuing a move for one of them.

Defensive reinforcements are clearly needed, but with little over two weeks of the transfer window remaining, it remains to be seen whether the Hoops will actually get any deals over the line.
