Souttar and Naismith ruled out of Hearts’ trip to Parkhead – A boost for Celtic?

Hearts will be without duo John Souttar and Steven Naismith for Sunday’s trip to Parkhead, which will no doubt serve to be a boost for Celtic.

Speaking to the media ahead of Hearts’ clash with Neil Lennon’s side this weekend, Craig Levein confirmed the duo of Souttar and Naismith will be unavailable, the club’s official website confirmed.

I was hoping we’d get one or two of them for this weekend but unfortunately I don’t think that’s not going to happen…. or I might be bluffing!

So how much of a boost will this give Celtic?

While Levein may well be bluffing, it appears likely that the duo will in fact miss the Jambos trip to Parkhead this weekend given their recent injury problems, which will certainly be a boost for Celtic.

Though the Hoops will no doubt be fully focused on Thursday’s crucial first leg tie with AIK in the Europa League play-off, news of both Naismith and Souttar missing out will come as a positive ahead of another big game on Sunday.
