Tony Watt believes Fraser Forster can become a Celtic legend if he completes a permanent move to Parkhead following his loan from Southampton this season, so does he have a point?

Responding to a claim made by Forster suggesting that both Scott Brown and James Forrest have reached legend status at Celtic, Watt agreed with the shot stopper before making his own statement.

While it is certainly a bold claim to make, Watt may have a point.

Could Forster become a Celtic legend?

Yes

No

Forster was already a fan favourite prior to his move to Southampton, and a number of strong performances this season will go a long way to reinstating that status.

The 31-year-old will no doubt be eager to make a positive impact this campaign, and should he agree to a permanent Parkhead move following his loan spell and perform as consistently as the likes of Brown and Forrest have done over the years, then there is no reason to suggest why he could not go down as a Celtic legend in the future.
