Celtic have been given a potential boost ahead of this weekend’s Glasgow Derby as Neil Lennon reveals that Kristoffer Ajer may be in contention following his injury against AIK on Thursday, and supporters are very happy with the news.
The versatile Ajer limped off in the early stages of the first-half in Thursday’s victory over AIK, leading to fears that he may miss Sunday’s trip to Ibrox, but Lennon revealed on Friday that the defender is confident he will be fit for the clash against Rangers.
And these supporters have been quick to react to the news on social media, to express their excitement at the possibility of Ajer being fit for this weekend.

If Ajer is fit enough to play against Rangers, then that will obviously be a huge boost for Celtic given his start to the season.
The 21-year-old has arguably been one of the Hoops’ best players thus far with a number of impressive performances both at centre-back and right-back, and he’ll be one of the first names on the team sheet if he can recover in time.
