Jack Aitchison set for Forest Green loan – Why it would be a good move

Jack Aitchison looks set to complete a deadline day loan move to Forest Green Rovers in what would be a good deal for the striker. 

According to Football Scotland, Aitchison is on the verge of completing a short-term loan move to the English League Two side which will see him leave Celtic until January. 

So why would the move benefit Celtic’s youngest ever goalscorer?

Aitchison gaining experience in League Two would no doubt help the striker develop as a player and continue to strive to become a first team player for Celtic. 

Forest Green were among the leagues highest goalscorer’s in League Two last season as they finished in the play-off spots, meaning Aitchison would be continuing his development with a side who look to create chances and score plenty of goals.

The 19-year-old would have the chance to compete for regular first team football in a physical league, for a team who are once again aiming for a successful season.

While the deal would only be until January according to the report, Aitchison would still have ample time to make an impact.
