Boli Bolingoli has praised Scott Brown for the leadership qualities he showed in last weekend’s Glasgow Derby, and his comments emphasise how important the Celtic skipper is for the new Bhoys.

According to the Evening Times, Boli was impressed by Brown when he won a duel in the clash with Rangers and revealed that was the moment when he realised how much of a leader the Hoops’ skipper is. 

Scott Brown is a big leader, a legend for me, the way he plays every game, you can only look up to him. The last game in the derby, one moment he won a duo and I was like ‘damn, yeah, that’s a real captain’.

That’s a real leader. Outside the pitch he’s a cool guy, a nice guy and he has helped me a lot.
