French media outlet L’Equipe have labelled Odsonne Edouard as “brilliant” following his burst onto the scene for France’s Under-21 side during the international break.
Eddy scored twice on his debut after coming on as a substitute against Albania last week, before netting another brace against the Czech Republic on Monday in a 3-1 victory.
And following the win, Football Scotland have reported that L’Equipe were full of praise for the impact the striker has made on the U21 side, after scoring four goals in his first two games.
Edouard brilliant again. The French youth team has found its new centre-forward… two games, four goals, Edouard’s ratio is launched from formidable foundations.

Eddy is on fire at the moment, and it came as no surprise to Celtic fans to see him make an instant impact for France.
The Hoops forward has now not only filled the void left by Moussa Dembele following his move from Celtic, but he also looks set to follow in his countryman’s footsteps at U21 level and become the main man for his nation whilst at Parkhead.
French Eddy is going from strength to strength with the Hoops, and his form is incredible to see, and long may it continue.
