Celtic defender Christopher Jullien has provided an update on the head injury he sustained against Hamilton.
Late into the game during Celtic’s Scottish Premiership clash at New Douglas Park, Jullien clashed heads with Accies forward Marios Ogkmpoe, where the French defender requiring four minutes of treatment.
The 26-year old eventually return to action and played the remaining 15 minutes for the Hoops, who won 1-0 to maintain their 100 per cent record in the league this season.
Neil Lennon’s post-match comments which referenced a brief blackout (VideoCelts) did cause some concern among fans, with an important fixture against Rennes fast approaching during midweek.
However, the former Toulouse man took to Twitter after the game to thank supporters for their support, while clarifying that his head injury is nothing to worry about. Jullien said: “and yeah the head is ok, thanks for asking!”

Responding to Jullien’s tweet, a number of Celtic fans were relieved and delighted to hear that the club’s record signing was left unscathed.
