Celtic fans give their predictions for Rennes clash

Celtic travel to Rennes on Thursday night for the first game of their Europa League group and it’ll be a tough ask for the Hoops.

Currently second in Ligue 1, Rennes will pose a difficult test for Neil Lennon’s side, who themselves will be hoping to advance from the group stages.

It will be a tricky match for the Hoops, that much is for sure.

Rennes currently sit second in the French league, winning three out of their opening five games, including a memorable victory against champions Paris Saint-Germain.

They come into the game off the back of a 0-0 draw against Brest and that could give the Hoops some hope.

Celtic will need to start well and improve on their showing against Hamilton over the weekend if they want to come away from France with a positive result.
