Celtic supporters react to Jack Aitchison’s MOTM display

Jack Aitchison produced a Man of the Match display for Forest Green Rovers last weekend to the delight of many Celtic supporters.

The 19-year-old followed up a goalscoring debut against Cambridge United the week before with another impressive display against Colchester on Saturday, when he was deployed as a number 10 as opposed to his natural position as a striker.

And following his display, these Celtic fans were full of praise for the youngster, with two fans suggesting he could replicate the success of Ryan Christie and Callum McGregor following their respective loan spells earlier in their career.

READ CELTIC VERDICT

Aitchison has certainly adjusted to life at Forest Green quickly, following a goal on his debut and a MOTM performance in his second game.

The striker is gaining crucial experience with the League Two side and will no doubt return to Celtic a better player for his spell with Rovers. 

While a place in the side for next season could look slightly unlikely at the moment, if he continues his fine form in England then he may well break through and become a Celtic regular.
