Vakoun Bayo, who had been introduced with time running out, was handed a red card in peculiar circumstances for a second bookable offence.

It really is quite difficult to see just what else Bayo could have done. The decision to send him off was bizarre and frankly unnecessary, and it’ll have left Neil Lennon scratching his head.
Ultimately, it was a positive result for Celtic on the night, and it’s just lucky that the referee hadn’t made such a call earlier on in the evening.
Bayo can rightly feel hard done by after a difficult outing in France.
