Jullien opens up about life with Celtic – Why his comments bode well

Christopher Jullien has opened up about life at Celtic following his summer move from Toulouse, and his comments bode well for the rest of the season.

According to Sport Witness via France Football, Jullien has revealed he was surprised by the size of the stadium and passion from the fans following his move to Celtic, and believes it is a stark contrast to Toulouse.

There’s a lot of things to say… It’s huge. Everything the club does for Scotland, for its fans. Celtic’s stature is incredible. I still get surprised by certain things. The stadium, the fans… Living this, it’s super cool. In France, you don’t realise, but when you’re in it, it’s huge.

I knew I wanted to make a step up, but I wasn’t expecting this much. Everyday I discover the extent of this club’s authority and track record. I can’t even walk in the streets! You just don’t realise this stuff from France. It really is incredible.

While it is clear to see that Jullien is still adjusting to life at Celtic, his comments are certainly a positive for the club.

Not only is his understanding of what it takes to play for Celtic growing day by day, he is clearly enjoying life following his move.

And that shows through his performances on the pitch, with another fine display against Rennes on Thursday.

While some players struggle to perform well whilst adjusting to a new home, Jullien has been thoroughly impressive thus far for Celtic despite clearly still getting used to his surroundings; which bodes well for when he does eventually feel settled, as he will only continue to go from strength to strength.
